Activities – 41th Library Week

The Centre celebrated 41 st Week by hosting a series of events from March 28 to April 3, 2005. The first event featured was a slide show sponsored by Homer Yayinevi, scheduled for Monday, March 28, at 5:00 p.m. Prepared by librarian photographers, the slide show focused on the themes "Changing Libraries," "Reading Everywhere," and "People."

As part of the Library Week events, Prof. Jale Parla will be giving a lecture on"The Turkish Novel and Modernism," on March 29 and Prof. Günay Kut will be joining us on March 31, with a presentation entitled,"Miniature Paintings from the Treasury Section of the Topkapi Palace Museum Library."
