Winners of the Prize Competition for Research on the History of Banking and Finance announced

The winners of the third Prize Competition for Research on the History of Banking and Finance sponsored by Garanti Bank and organized by the Ottoman Bank Archives and Research Centre in collaboration with the European Association for Banking and Financial History and the History Foundation (Tarih Vakfı) received their awards on Tuesday, December 11, at a ceremony held at the Museum. Among those honored at the ceremony were Murat Metinsoy, winner in the best monograph category, Nurşen Gürboğa, winner of the prize for best doctoral thesis, and Burcu Kurt and Yüksel Çelik, joint recipients of the prize for the best scientific paper. Arif Bilgin received an honorary mention in the monograph category, Songül Ulutaş was awarded one in the master’s thesis category, and Atilla Aytekin received one in the scientific paper category.
