Voyvoda Street Meetings 2002
The Ottoman Bank Archives and Research Centre organised every
month, during the academic year 2000-2001, the Voyvoda Street
Meetings. On this occasion, it constituted a platform where
eminent economists and historians shared their knowledge and
experiences with their colleagues, students and dilettantes
interested in economic history. The Voyvoda Street Meetings
continued in the academic year 2001-2002. The principal theme
of these meetings was "Life in the Ottoman Empire (1780-1920)".
During the meetings where was treated political, economic,
social and cultural life of the Ottoman Empire under an interdisciplinary
approach, academicians shared their knowledge on their researches
with their colleagues, students and amateurs.

Research Centre, in Wednesday of every month:
